Claims

At Wymark Insurance Brokers we believe that prompt claims handling is a key element in providing you with a high level of customer service and satisfaction. From your initial advice of an incident until finalisation we continually monitor your claim to ensure that it is being processed in a timely manner.

Many insurers offer a tele-claims service which enables you to lodge the claim directly over the phone without completion of a claim form which saves time and gets your claim processed even quicker. Please note that if you do utilise this teleclaims service it is imperitive that you notify us of the incident to enable us to monitor the claim on your behalf until finalisation. If you have any questions or concerns regarding claims please feel free to contact our office.

Please forward all claim forms/correspodence to our office, and be sure to notify us of an incident if you utilise the tele-claims service if provided by your insurer.

 

IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER

  • Any occurrence that could be likely to give rise to a claim should be reported immediately to our office
  • Do not admit liability to a Third Party for loss or damage or injury
  • For small losses your insurer will generally require you to obtain 2 quotes for repair/replacement
  • Take all reasonable precautions to prevent further loss, damage or liability, this may include carrying out emergency repairs
  • Contact the police as soon as possible to report any theft or attempted theft, or damage.
  • For large losses your insurer will require an assessor be appointed, please notify us immediately

Accident Health & International require the completion of a claim form together with a quote/invoice for the repair/replacement of items being claimed. An Assessor will be appointed for large losses.

Allianz Tele-claims 131 000

Allianz have the facility to lodge incidents over the phone on 131 000 for ALL Retail (Domestic) Claims. Allianz generally requires 2 quotes for the repair/replacement. An assessor will be appointed for large losses. Wholesale (Commercial) claims require completion of a claim form. For all Glass Claims – contact O’Brien Glass on 131 616 and they shall handle the claim for you once you provide them with your policy number.

An assessor will be appointed for large losses. Wholesale (Commercial) claims such as Strata and Business claims excluding Liability can be lodged over the phone on 3212 7871. All other Commercial claims require the completion of a claim form.
